Here's the boring route I chose for my trip to Vancouver next week:

Well, it can't be that boring - I've driven to Vancouver and back at least eight times and never taken your route. :)

Technically I should have written "the boring route Google chose." To be honest I've never taken the Trans-Canada the entire way either... This is the first time I'll be making the trip out in two days rather than three, so I just went for the shortest path.

The most "exciting" highway would be the Hope-Princeton: s-curves and winding paths up the sides of mountains and down again; always a great ride on the motorcycle. (Also one of the more dangerous highways in western Canada...)

I didn't know you were headed to Vancouver. Any particular reason you're headed that way???? Wanna make a detour on the way home???? (wink, wink)

We'd make it worth your while.

Isn't it just a 12 hr trip? And you take 2-3 days? I wouldn't be able to stand taking so long to get somewhere. Unless I wasn't really going anywhere in particular, then I wouldn't mind taking a little longer getting there :) Wish you were going 12hrs North instead of West though.

When you misjudge a turn on a motorcycle, you can't call a towtruck to pull you back onto the road. There are only itty bitty squishy pieces left, and towtruck drivers don't know what to do with those...
