Maturity?

Thought for a holiday Monday:
is "adulthood" when you do work around the house on holidays instead of reading books/playing games/sleeping in your hammock?

Also:
If I ever become Prime Minister, I'm going to extend statutory holiday status to students. Work done on long weekends will be assessed at a double rate: papers, reading assignments, short responses, etc. will be counted at double the actual page length.
(I know that's not how it works, but I don't normally have classes on Monday anyway—so I still have just as much reading/writing to do today, in addition to all of the yardwork/home networking projects/bike and car maintenance that I've been putting off.)
