A Warning.

Those of you who use Windows NT/XP/Vista: (Which would be everyone except for Rus...)
Don't use the "encrypted file system" feature. Ever.

If you don't know what it is, you don't have to worry about it.

But if you do, and you ever think about encrypting your sensitive files, just stop what you're doing, back away from the keyboard, and go have a drink while you think it over.
Trust me, this is not something you want to do. Unencrypted files are much better than inaccessible files.

Goodbye, GSEA minutes, recent correspondence, and any other documents created on my laptop that I didn't back up in September. Fare thee well, and as ye journey across the river of e-m pulses into that other world of residual magnetic patterns, we'll play the taps for thee...
